lovely! I think this is the fully developed form of the same we knew this as chenile plant as we grew up... very common in calcutta homes.. According to wiki this genera is the fourth largest in Euphorbiaceae family - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Acalypha.
How do i know if the inflorescence of this genus is unisexual or bisexual - http://www.efloras.org/florataxon.aspx?flora_id=2&taxon_id=100064#KEY-1-4? These are microscopic flowers!
