Hope to get id.... ... the leaves and its arrangement makes me wonder if it is related to Homonoia riparia. Fruits looks like that of Elaeagnus species Fruits and leaves looks like that of Elaeagnus parvifolia I think not Elaeagnus parvifolia. Let us wait. Good identification ...! Fruits do not seem completely mature (though these never become sweeter) and a fruit in mouth can sour the taste. When fully, mature turns orange and looks delicious. Commercial drinks are being prepared from the fruits now. Is it? where can we buy the sea buck thorn juice in india nowaday, ..., I would certainly like it. Back in 2003 and 2004 all army camp wives were swearing by this juice. I loved it when tasted with them, but now a days in gangetic planes we dont see it in any market...., very nice pictures of one of the four Sea buck thorns, is this the predominant type in Ladhakh?
