This plant is somewhat matching to Zehneria bodinieri (H.Lév.) W.J.de Wilde & Duyfjes in shape of fruit and length of fruiting pedicel. But the leaves of this plant are different from that of Kaas plants. Let us wait for comments from experts.
Zehneria hookeriana (Wight & Arn.) Arn. is said to be endemic to Tamil Nadu and its fruits have longer pedicels. The posted plant is not Z. maysorensis, as has been previously identified, according to the following reference.
