Renner, Arun K. Pandey. (2013) Actually this was collected from Kalitila/Kalatila on Bangladesh Tripura border. I read observations on EFI and some are saying both are synonyms of each other. I attached photos of the fruit which is brown with ridges like pumpkin. Tribals also reported that there exists another variety like ashgourd with small dots but no ridges.
