This was also recorded from VOF, please suggest id for this succulent.. Sedum - species in eFIoraofindia (with details/ keys from published papers/ regional floras/ FRLHT/ FOI/ efloras/ books etc., where ever available) Pl. check with images & threads at Sedum oreades (Decne.) Raym.-Hamet This does not match Sedum oreades (I have recently posted images from Kashmir). However, it does appear close to the images posted as Sedum multicaule see: efi thread 1, efi thread 2 and efi thread 3. So the location seems to fit, assuming these postings are correct. Would have been helpful to know actual altitude where this was photographed. I have never been to VOF. Wiki says 3352-3658m (interesting that such a small part of the valley is assigned as such since the Britisher mountaineers who first assigned the name VOF first came across the valley at high altitude). I do not have any meaningful reference works for this part of the Himalaya but 'Enumeration of the Flowering Plants of Nepal' give 1500-3200m for the altitudinal range for this species, so just OK especially if located at the bottom end of the main VOF. Further West, Stewart knew it from 1200-2400m in N.Pakistan & Kashmir. Sedum for ID :: Govindghat-Ghangaria, Uttarakhand :: Aug 2018 :: ARKSEP-25 : 6 posts by 4 authors.
