Habit : Cultivated 
could be, the crinkly  edges of a succulent plant leaf with browning hairs on the top end and some edges would certainly point us to this diagnosis, BUT
BUT
MY BUT is this:
never seen spine like projections on the under-surface of the leaves in this plant before, have seen a few.
Since this seems to be indoors, may not be a stress response by the plant.
wonder what is it due to?
or may it is a different plant altogether.
and did it ever flower?
any pictures of it flowering?
