Evolvulus glomeratus
Pl. validate
Looks to be Evolvulus glomeratus to me as the leaves seem to be glabrous, although there is some hair on the main stems. The elongated double bifid stigma is easy to see on the flower (lower benter)

This one is from the same sapling vendor who allowed me to photograph Jacquemontia pentanthos that i posted a couple of days ago.
Species : UNKNOWN
Habit & Habitat : pot flower from a local sapling vendor
Date : 28/03/2012, 10.00 a.m.

Common name -VISHNUKRANTHI. Botanical Name – Evolvulus alsinoides!

this us from me
Shankhapushpi.... Evolvulus alsinoides
I doubt whether this is Evolvulus?
There is one garden plant which is similar to E.alsinoides. I think that is the one. Don't remember the name though. Attaching my photo of that.
... possibly Evolvulus glomeratus 'Blue Daze' (family: Convolvulaceae) ... native of South America.
THIS IS NOT THE shankhapushpi of Ayurvedic medicine.... Like the possibility suggested by ...

Seen in the garden during my visit in October, 2018.
