The id's seems to be ok for me. But for conformation, at least for the first picture, we need more information, mainly on flowers and color of the exudate from the bark.
The Id of the second picture is seems to be correct! My guess is based on the size and shape of leaves. Further, the species name G. cambogia is now a synonym of Garcinia gummi-gutta (L.) Roxb. of Clusiaceae family.

Garcinia gummi-gutta (L.) Roxb.(= Garcinia cambogia (Gaertn.) Desr.), growing wild from Agumbe Ghat, one of the popular fruit used in nutraceutical industry for the production of Hydroxycitric acid.
common in Kerala, and Coorg area of Karnataka
i had never seen fresh fruits like you are showing here
only dry kokum at indian grocery stores
thank you
For almost a decade this was a fastest growing craze among sellers and buyers for quick weight loss..
may still be.. but those frantic markedly hyped ads are all but gone..  but i am sure just like the ponzi schemes it made the sellers of cambogia extracts, ad writers and ad distributors some real cash..

Please identify this shrub from Kannur District of Kerala. Leaves very much acidic... probably a species of Garcinia.. know that it is difficult with only vegetative form. But experts of our group can do it I hope....
