I have prepared this list by compiling names from all the resources available with me and and information extracted from web resources as much as i could get.

I checked species of Cleome & found that some are not valid names (rather syn. of other stated names) while a few others have been moved to another genera like Tarenaya hassleriana & Tarenaya spinosa
I think this appears to be a situation in other genera also & situation may get confused.

Cleome 1 post by 1 author.

I have updated eFI (efloraofindia) page on Cleome

Attempts have been made to incorporate most of the species available in India & nearby areas with details & keys directly or through links as far as possible. It’s quite possible that there may be some discrepancy in the accepted names & synonyms taken from other databases/ books.

Species discussed so far in efloraofindia are given at the bottom of the page in the form of links against Subpages. On clicking them one can see all the details.

Any comments are welcome.

Re: Cleome species pages : 1 post by 1 author.

I have inserted images on species pages of Cleome.
I am not able to make genus page (my system & browser are older) which is requested here.
Thanks, ... I will do that.

Pl. go through Cleome (‎‎Cleomaceae) page with images of species (mainly done by D. S. Rawat ji) in efloraofindia.

If you find any mis-identification, pl. let us know. If anybody can send images of other species of this genera (for incorporation in the website), if any, it will be really nice.

Also, if anybody is interested to take up the activity of inserting images on efloraofindia pages from efloraofindia posts, pl. let us know.
