The flowers are inconspicuous, greenish-white, 5 mm diameter. In autumn, orange fruit hangs below the flaring pink seed coverings. Euonymus japonicus is a popular ornamental plant for parks and gardens, both in its native area and also in Europe and North America. This small tree was recorded from Shimla.. please help to conclude.. It is an ornamental plant and mostly used as hedges in gardens. I do have the same in my house but it was left untrimmed and thus had become a small tree now. Euonymus japonicus
