AKOCT28 ID please for this Asteraceae herb. : 4 posts by 3 authors. 3 images.
Location: Landour, few km from Mussoorie. Leaves were narrow and lance like. Stems were quite viscid.
Not Asteraceae. It is a species of Silene (Caryophyllaceae).
Interesting find. Have any pic of leaves, lower part of stem?
Silene species in eFloraofindia (with details/ keys from published papers/ regional floras/ FRLHT/ FOI/ Biotik/ efloras/ books etc., where ever available)
Silene falconeriana in my opinion.
