Caper Bush in Keoladeo National Park, Bharatpur: May 2012: Keoladeo National Park, Bharatpur: Caper Bush, Capparis sepiaria lining both sides of the dykes.
I observed hundreds of Pioneer butterflies feeding on this plant. Few other butterfly species too!
I remember observing many butterflies in Bharatpur few years back. The association between Pioneer butterflies and Capparaceae is well known.

A rural roadside wild plant found on hedges.
Capparis sepiara ??????????
Yes, Capparis sepiaria... a difficult plant to go near to, because of a pair of recurved sharp spines, which somehow entangle you... nice detailed pics
Thank you very much Sir for confirming the ID.

Requesting identification of this wild plant seen in Karjat. The unripe and ripe fruits are there in the photos. The plant is spiny. I couldn't figure out if it is a shrub or climber in the thicket. Thanks.
Looks like Capparis sepiaria
Thanks a lot ... for the immediate identification
