A potted, cultivated, ornamental plant.
It has different color bands.
Echninocereus rigidissimus... possibly ssp. rubispinus
Fun! Yup, I agree with ... on this one, Echninocereus rigidissimus , known locally as “Arizona rainbow cactus”. Nice big specimen too!

A small, cultivated Cactus seen at a Cactus house in Nasik on 27/2/14.
Would need a side view ...,
Really cannot tell what it is.
This is the only picture I have.
Will try to take more pictures when I visit next.
Looks like a Echinocereus rigidissimus var. rubrispinus graft, but need a "profile" pic to tell for sure.
