Thanks ... I think the posted may not be among Cereus spp.
But I could be wrong. Let us hope someone helps with ID / validation.

it might just be Opuntia Invicta.
in my mind its an opuntia that wants to be a stick, but not quite making it, and hence all those folds and distortions....ha ha
