Spreading annual herb, branched from base, bad smelling; basal leaves pinatisect 5-10 cm long, with numerous small segments, upper sessile with fewer segments; flowers minute, 1-1.3 mm across, in shot compact raceme elongatng in fruit; petals minute or absent; stamen 2; silicula didymus, broader than long, 2.5 mm broad, with globose valves with one seed in each. It (Soliva anthemifolia) might be easily confused with Coronopus didymus (now Lepidium didymum L.) but the flowers occur in sessile axillary capitula hidden at the base of leaves. If you find a Coronopus like plant whose leaves also remind you of an umbellifer, look for the greenish sessile (brownish when dry and mature) capitala.
