Euclidium syriacum (L.) R. Br. from Srinagar Kashmir: Euclidium syriacum (L.) R. Br. in W. T. Aiton, Hortus Kew. 4: 74. 1812.
Syn: Anastatica syriaca L.; Bunias syriaca (L.) Marschall  
Common names: Syrian mustard 
Spreading to erect annual herb, branched from base, scabrous with branched hairs; lower leaves with up to 2 cm long petioles, upper sessile, oblong-elliptic to lanceolate, 2-8 cm long, margin entire or sinuate-toothed; Flowers hardly 1.5 mm across, white, in spike-like racemes; pedicel hardly 1 mm long; sepals about 0.7-0.9 mm long; petals narrowly spatulate, 1.5 mm long; fruit an ovoid silicula, 2-2.5 mm long, 2-seeded, scabrous, apex narrowed, curved away from axis. 
A weed of saffron fields, road sides and on dry ground in wastelands.
