Impatiens-7 for ID :: Govindghat-Ghangaria, Uttarakhand :: Aug 2018 :: ARKNOV-15 : 7 posts by 5 authors. Attachments (7) Saw this along the Ghangaria-VOF trail, Uttarakhand in Aug 2018. Requested to please provide ID, is this Impatiens sulcata? it looks like I.sulcata but I.glandulifera is very close. What is the size of the plant ? Thanks ... for the feedback. I do not recollect clearly but I think it could be around couple of feet tall. On comparing, I find these more closer to images https://sites.google.com/site/efloraofindia/species/a---l/b/balsaminaceae/impatiens/impatiens-sulcata Yes it's Impatiens sulcata having larger flower with linear capsules unlike I.glandulifera where flowers are comparatively smaller with clavate capsules.
