ASTERACEAE Fortnight Part 3-Ligulate Heads: Aisliaea aptera from Uttarakhand_DSR_1 : Attachments (2). 2 posts by 2 authors.
Aisliaea DC. genus is represented in India by three species (A.angustifolia, A.aptera and A.latifolia)
A. aptera DC. is the most common species found in the Himalaya.
It blooms in early summer to midsummer inside forests with bright flower heads. Leaves usually appear after flowering.
Here photographed at Governor’s House Naini Tal.
Very nice close-up. Clear and nice photographs. Ligulate florets look great. I think you have missed an 'N' in the genus spelling inadvertently.
It should be Ainsliaea aptera.

Ainsliaea aptera from Gulmarg hills Kashmir. Photo taken in May end. Leaves could not be located on the plant.
A delicate beauty of forest floors. Beautifully captured.
Thanks ..., I saw your photo of Ainsliaea and I could remember about the one in my collection.
