I could not find a match with the existing images. May be some other species or variety as per Cyanthillium Cyanthillium cinereum (L.) H. Rob. (accepted name) ?? Thanks, Rawat ji & Saroj ji, for the initial Id. I also feel these are close to images at Cyanthillium cinereum (L.) H.Rob. Shall I close on in this ID? Beautiful. Never seen it earlier Kindly help in identification of an Asteraceae specimen from South Andaman Island, A & N Islands. Habit - diffuse branched herb. Habitat - open grass patches with rocks and boulders at the top of a small hillock near sea. Photographed on Nov.14,2015. Please check Emilia sp. Thanks, ..., I do not think it is an Emilia species. Cyanthillium cinereum (L.) H.Rob. ??? This is not Cyanthilium cinerum. It certainly appears to be a Vernonieae member as per comparative images herein. Closest I can reach as per these comparative images is Cyanthillium cinereum which seems quite a variable species as per images herein. May I request you to pl. reconsider this species. |
