This small herb is from Chikka (9000 ft altitude) in Manali region. I remember,  ... has indicated the posiibility of this being "Cicerbita decipiens".

This interesting plant may not be a Cicerbita species as the characteristic black hairs on involucral bracts are not visible. It may be a Lactuca species
