Jaub. & Spach, 1850 syn: Garhadiolus minutissimus (Bunge) Kitam.; Rhagadiolus hedypnois Fisch. et Mey An annual spreading herb with 5-20 cm long branches from base, glabrous or sparsely hispid; leaves 3-7 cm long, obovate-oblong, sinuate or pinnatetely lobed, narrowed into petiole; heads yellow 6-8 mm across, ligulate, on peduncle thickened in fruit; involucre bracts small subspinoluse or smooth in fruit; achene 5-10 mm long narrowed above into incurved tip, sometimes almost sickle-shaped, smooth, terete, fiantly ribbed, enclosed in involucre bracts; pappus palaeaceous, less than 1 mm long, pales fringed, inner achenes with more prominent pappus than outer.
