Kalatope id Compositae...al310311: This one is all over the place... there is another one like this but the leaves are different.. will post that when I catch it in bloom.. Habitat wild Location Kalatope, Chamba Altitude 2100 mts habit herb Height 18-20 inches Taraxacum officinale? Not Taraxacum which has single flower on a scape. This should be a species of Crepis. ..., exact flower size should help in identification. I can give you all details except flower dia right now, since the sun did not shine and the flower did not open.... but the flower size is almost the same as the dandelion (which is the next id)... I think... Just give me the diameter of head, not length, and also if there are some fruits, each will have three portions: lower thicker body, narrowed neck and hairy crown. Give me length of each if possible Diameter of the head is 1 inch and no fruits visible as yet... I feel it is a Launaea sps. I would go with Crepis foetida Launaea won't have such leaves.
