sharing snap of some lovely flowers taken in an exhibition in Kolkata last December 
any idea what these can be???
cineraria but cannot be too sure as the leaves cannot be seen
I also feel that it is Cinereria.
About cultivated plant there is one book whose author is "Bailey"

this plant is Cineraria cruenta Masson ex L'Hér. {Senecio cruentus (Masson ex L'Hér.) DC} family asteraceae.
The cultivated plant is now more correctly known as Pericallis x hybrida (a hybrid between P. cruenta and p. lanata)

I think Pericallis x hybrida (syn: Cineraria x hybrida, Senecio x hybridus).
Please also include picture of lower leaves for confirmation.
