Blumea .. sp?
May be. Thanks for sharing these beautiful images.
Close to images at Blumea sinuata (Lour.) Merr. , but hairs are different

Specimen collected at 1676 mt. as per the Flora of Kathmandu Valley. I guess it is matching with Blumea lacera (Burm.f.) DC.!

Thanks, ... Does not match with the description given in your attachments.
Images at the stated link are wrongly identified.
Pl. see images of Blumea lacera at this link.
On checking and inserting all images at Blumea sinuata (Lour.) Merr., I think your plant appears close to this. This is mentioned as Blumea laciniata DC. in the Checklist of Nepal.
It is correctly named in Flora of China

Thank you ...! I guess it is matching.

This herb was shot from Yamuna river bank in Panipat.. I hope this can be Blumea lacera.. please validate/correct..
Blumea lacera DC and B. laciniata DC are very confusing to me. And i have stated it in several posts. Net is equally confused, i think.
However, FI notes, "It (laciniata) differs from lacera, in having all the leaves laciniate and from terebinthinacea (???) in the inflorescence and flowers." FI doesn't mention any other difference.
FI further records, 1) in laciniata stem is striate.. 2) in lacera stem erect, branchy, particularly near the ground; lower leaves are petioled, lyred; the superiors ones simply oval and many times smaller.
I think it is Blumea lacera.
Rather appears close to images at Blumea sinuata (Lour.) Merr.

Blumea lacera from Panipat-2012: First 7 are correct images.
g Yamuna River, Panipat (Haryana-UP Border) in April 2012, I hope my identification is correct....this is Blumea lacera from Asteraceae...
I am sorry for the last two pics, which clearly do not belong to Blumea lacera...
the last two pics belongs to Blumea mollis i guess
Blumeas are common but often show gross variations so I have so far remained away from them. Let me check my pictures and send to you for identification.

After going through the literature I am tempted to identify it as Blumea lacera, though I am not confident with identification. Kindly suggest.
Please see the attached photo where I have tried to point out some characters which also indicates me that the plant is Blumea lacera. I have never seen a Blumea like this in West Bengal there the plant is more vigourous and dense by nature. Sir is this an ecotype or something of that kind?
Thanks ... for supporting analysis. Seeing photographs on the net, especially flowersofindia website, I don't feel confident about my identification. Let us see more responses.

the response was same when i saw photo. it doesn't look the B lacera. i saw in and around kolkata. hence i asked you is this an ecotype ?
Blumea lacera [Asteraceae]...
I am confident on ... ID and previously I attached a photo where I tried to indicated the charactes of the plant which is evident from the photo. Plant doesn't look like B lacera commonly seen in Kolktata but still has all the characters of the plant. I have seen this plant very closely as i used its extract to contol microbes. It has a good potential to control bacteria.
... could be right with his justification ... but to me the look of plant seems different, the stem, leaves and flowers they all seem different.
Leaf texture of B. lacera is more like felt material, the colour is light (read: bright) green ... these two qualities are also seen in B. oxyodonta.
Could this be some variety of B. paniculata ?
... other than these two: var. paniculata and var. muralis ... these I have seen in Satish Pardeshi ji's works at Floristic Survey of Institute of Science (http://iscmumbai.maharashtra.gov.in/floristic%20survey.html)
I think I have extended ... doubt. Me too would like some comment(s) for clarification.
Thanks ... We seem to be developing telepathy more frequently. I saw the plant again today, and was reluctant to accept it as B. lacera. But now I seem to have found the answer, the species also described in Flora of Delhi (J K Maheshwari), B. laciniata (Rxb.) DC. Please validate. I have this link to support my new identification.
... am certain that you have compared your plant with the description at Flora of Delhi. Validating in this case is tough for me; would rather wait for comment(s).
BRAVO ..., it is Blumea lacinata ... thanks for finding it..... we do have telepathy in between us This is the second case where ...has said it last time it was with me.... ha ha ha.
