It adds a lot of colour but grows like a weed. wouldn't it be some kind of wild sunflower? At least the seeds look like that. It's Tithonia sp. from Asteraceae. Kindly identify this large shrub approximately 5 metres in height with yellow flowers upto 15 cm wide, found growing in a house in Thettu village near Madanapalle, Andhra Pradesh, photographed in October 2018. check tithonia sp??? like t. diversifola? we have had a case but this seems to show the palmate leaves, the flowers, buds, anf height of the plant more clearly. I have this plant grown in my garden. It is Tithonia diversifolia. Grows very fast. The height is 10 - 15 ft. Just put a stem cutting. The plant grows very easily. Needs very less care. I will post the photographs in a separate posting later. Leaves are variant. One can see simple leaves as well as palmate leaves. Shape changes as the plant grows. yes, ... that's why its diversifolia, i guess. can you show us pictures of the various leaves and of seeds, please thanks.
