Acmella species in eFloraofindia (with details/ keys from published papers/ regional floras/ FRLHT/ FOI/ Biotik/ efloras/ books etc., where ever available) This maybe Acmella calva (DC.) R. K. Jansen. I am rally sorry that I have missed the words "it is eaten". Please forget the earlier ID I have suggested. Info found in the net that one edible species is Acmella oleracea.
