Plant for ID SMP1 15/07/2011 : One of my friends has sent these pictures of a plat most probably Agave species. Can I have the botanical name?
I am adding some more photos. She thinks this is Agave parviflora. I am not much familiar with these. Can you comment?

Yes I agree with you. I also came to the same conclusion on searching the net just before I saw your reply.
 It is A.leopoldii or A.x leopoldii.
The typical white fibres coming out from the long slender leaf edges are characteristic Isn't it?
I don't think the white fibers are diagnostic to this species of Agave couple of other have them too. The leaf character of the plant and its small bushy look helped me to ID it.
