But within the similar discussion two images of … are A.tagala. 3. These are my images but I don't know how, it has been forwarded to you by different people, whom i don't know. Please identify the Aristolochia sp. Did not find a match as per comparative images at Aristolochia Where and when these images were taken ? These photographs has taken from Assam. It looks like Aristolochia tagala Cham. Image in 2nd photo is not clear. May I request you to pl. post a larger image or the original one.

I agree, the pictures posted by ... are of typical Aristolochia tagala. But, ... plant is not A. tagala. Both flowers and leaves look different here. I fully agree with ... The flowers and leaf shape shows a little variation. But with the keys provided in Fl. China, I could not reach to any conclusion. A perusal of 'Flora of Assam' could help. It has purplish to greenish terete stems, brownish ovate-lanceolate bracteoles with a short stalk at base and acuminate apex, cymes with 2–15 owers, fasciculate, on extremely short inorescence axes, a sessile utricle, creamy-white to greenish-yellow perianth with a brownish patch on its throat, a 1-lobed limb, oblong linear with a twisted cauda, and a 6-lobed gynostemium. According to these morphological characteristics, A. assamica should be placed in Aristolochia subgenus Aristolochia series Aristolochia.
