Ornamental Palm For ID : Nasik : 04OCT16 : AK-1 : 8 posts by 3 authors. Attachments (1)
Ornamental palm seen in a plant nursery in Nasik.
Cultivated, garden plant.
Any habit image i.e. image of the complete plant ?
I seem to have only this picture.
Perhaps it is Rhapis excelsa
Attached image does not represent habit of plant. No doubt that palm species is relating to Coryphae tribe, possibilities for Rhapis would be higher if stem clusterforming and reed like. But it differs if stem not reed like.
Thanks for the suggested id.
I will try to look for it and take better pictures during next visit.
