Ornamental Tree For ID : California : 05NOV14 : AK-15 : 16 posts by 5 authors. Attachments (2)
Ornamental tree seen in the premises of a  multi story complex in Los Angeles on 3rd Oct,14.
Seem to be Schefflera Species.
seems to be Schefflera polybotrya
but i would like to see the leaves' edges a little better details
sep. fotos or pl crop your original pixel pic to show the leaf edges...
Here are the cropped pictures.
Hope the are helpful. Attachments (3)
the edges of the confirm it its NOT S. polybotrya.
Most likely a cultivar of Schefflera arboricola. the leaf margins help exclude the polybotrya...
and the flowers exclude the actinophylla..
Salutes ... for your amazing knowledge.
I may be able to confirm only after I reach Delhi. I am in Jammu right now attending a marriage and now an engagement. I will be back on 11th.
Can it be some species of Schefflera ?
I think it looks more like Schefflera pueckleri
Thanks for the id. Will wait for validation.
On searching, flowers in my picture do match with your suggested id. Thanks once again.
S. pueckleri is known to be available from some growers in california and inaustrallia, and owned by some, but  i cant be 100% sure of the id here in this case.
But i wont argue either ... not enough data.
Lets see what ... thinks
