Arisaema jacquemontii - at least I think so..:   A confusion I had over the last Arisaema id request was that
1. The number of leaflets in the earlier observation were 13.. and this one is 5
2. Spadix appendage is short in this one as given in FOH -Adam & Oleg for Arisaema jacquemontii
I leave this in your capable hands....
Details for this one
Location Kalatope, chamba
Altitude 2400 mts
Habit herb
Habitat wild
Height 18 inches

I think this one is Arisaema jacquemontii

Yes, I agree. Arisaema jacquemontii. The appendix length is a bit variable, usually female flowers have a slightly shorter appendix but this definitely Arisaema jacquemontii.

Kindly help in the ID of Arisaema sp. photographed from Chakrata Deovan road in September. The plants have digitately compound leaves with 5-6 leaflets, upper leaflets much longer than lower, spathe with a tail curved downwards and spadix with much longer tail almost erect.
The last photograph from Mussoorie Chakrata road looks much different.
Nice photograph
May be arisaema tortuosum
First two images are Arisaema jacquemontii Blume, which has a characteristic spindle shaped berries with white longitudinal lines, usually with remnants of spathe.
Thirds picture is a fruiting plant of Arisaema tortuosum (Wall.) Schott with two pedate leaves.

Fwd: Arisaema in fruit at Narkanda Dr Thakur : 4 posts by 2 authors. Attachments (6)
I have lost track of this posting showing a single image of ripe berries of an Arisaema.
Rather than waste more time searching can you post the following information and attached images:
Yes, given the location, Arisaema jacquemontii was always the most likely species.
I can confirm that the image taken at Narkunda matches the fruit of this species.
I am sending assorted images in support of this. Arisaemas can present challenges identification-wise when at the fruiting stage as the foliage has often died-down and sometimes disappeared altogether.
Often though, there is some evidence, no matter how shrivelled or partially-decayed of the leaves, which is worth photographing.
I would also recommend if one has ripe berries on Arisaema to rub the fleshy pulp off a couple to reveal the seeds which can then be photographed against a plain background, as these can be quite distinctive once you are familiar with them.
The photographed seeds can then be 'planted' in the ground near to the plant to encourage germination - you will have been the equivalent of an animal eating the fruits and its intestines removing the pulp which contains chemicals that inhibit germination.
I understand Arisaemas such as A.consanguineum are known as 'Monkey Corn' in the Naini Tal area.
There is one image attached from the lower Rohtang showing orange (partially ripened) berries with a decaying leaf.
Four images from forest at the Jaloori Pass, also Kulu Valley, Himachal Pradesh showing immature green berries and foliage one leaf starting to yellow and collapse.
Finally, a single image of ripe red berries photographed for me without a macro-lens.
Anything can be easily searched as below:
1. Go to home page at efloraofindia e-group (you can keep it in your bookmark or favourites).
2. Click on 'Search for topics' under drop down menu.
Add suitable words for searching against 'Has the words'
3. Click 'Enter' or search icon.
You will all threads with search on suitable words.
Similarly many search combinations can be used to narrow down the results.
Thanks. I have SEARCH THIS SITE, which I just tried and was able to
locate what I wanted from "Arisaema Narkanda".
Had not been aware of this!
Search is the best option to find out anything at EFI group or site.
