The second species is Arisaema dahaiense. Arisaema dahaiense is originally described from China and is a sister species of Arisaema galeatum from West Bengal. Most likely these 2 species are slowly sliding from one species into the other going from west to east. The form on the pictures still has some green in the spathe, the Chinese forms are darker colored in shades of purple and brown purple.
Arisaema dahaiense is also reported from the state of Nagaland.
