Pentasachme wallichii Wight (Asclepiadaceae) from Uttarakhand: Aug.2014_DSR_2 : 4 posts by 3 authors. Attachments (1). Pentasachme wallichii Wight is a small hanging herb growing near waterfalls, streams. Not common in Uttarakhand. There was a long discussion on Pentasachme in eFI earlier Photographed near Birthi, Pithoragarh (Uttarakhand). I have also added the list of Indian species of Pentasachme in eFI. Thanks ..., this perhaps grows under waterfalls only..I got this in Gori valley...
Gori Valley Tour 2012: Pentasacme sp. for identification : 9 posts by 4 authors. Attachments (10) This very interesting taxon was shot on way from Chokori to Munsiyar on October 3, 2012.... this has a peculiar habitat.. we observed this only under water falls at a few places... this herb has pendant branches and downward facing flowers.... will be happy to have more information..
