What can it be? 

No idea at all. May be Fern sp. ?

It's Gesneriaceae or one of those things - I just can't quite remember the name of this easily recognisable spermatophyte genus, sorry.
Can't find those places on a map - sounds like Sikkim, but please always tell us the State, as I keep saying!
