Here is the leaf with complete flower Attachments (1)- 813 kb. Ceropegia hookeri C.B.Clarke ex Hook.f. ! It looks alike...but the elevation and detail characters are not matching (especially corona) to Ceropegia hookeri C.B.Clarke ex Hook.f ca. 3000 m. band of ciliate hairs ca. 2/3 up tube on inside; Not satisfied with C. hookeri as it has glabrous Corolla lobes, hairy at neck of corolla tube but this species attached above has long and hairy corolla lobes, glabrous corolla tube. Checked at efloraofindia.. not matching... Does any one have the photo of C. hookeri ?, please attach here for comparison... Also leaf is not matching as C hookeri, has ovate-lanceolate to elliptic-lanceolate leaf...which is different here.... Not satisfied with C. hookeri as it has glabrous Corolla lobes, hairy at neck of corolla tube but this species attached above has long and hairy corolla lobes, glabrous corolla tube. Does any one have the photo of C. hookeri ?, please attach here for comparison... It is not C.hookeri (has inflorescence 1 or 2 flowered and corolla narrowing gradually from base to throat), but here it is 4-5 flowered and corolla bulbous at base, Also corolla lobes are different. Please check here Ceropegia! May be other sp. I think it's close to Ceropegia pubescens Wall. as per comparative images at Ceropegia Your colour of column is on the maroonish side and hairy on the corona. Otherwise other aspects are the same. I also could not find any other species closer. Colours and hairiness of young flowers/ buds match. Thank You ...! But the base of the corolla tube is more bulbous and the corolla lobes look different. So there is no total matching. Yes, ..., Flora of China says "Corolla yellow, 5-5.5 cm; tube 3-3.5 cm, base slightly inflated, throat 3-5 mm in diam., narrower than base; lobes linear, 2-2.5 cm, basal ca. 1 cm orange-yellow, wider and strongly revolute, apical part ± subulate, purple. " There seems variation in this portion. I could find the exact match in an image by Stainton, John David Adam from Nepal as per GBIF. Thank You ...! It Looks similar on images by Adam Stainton. But both looks a bit dissimilar to C. pubescens Could not find similar photos with hairy lobes and even not mentioned in text. Figure 9 from Taxonomic revision of Ceropegia (Apocynaceae: Ceropegieae) in India | Semantic Scholar Thank You for the info.. still not clear about corolla lobes... May be it could be a new species then! Could be ...as not seen this type of photos except by A. Stainton Hope to find it again.. |
