I have updated eFI (efloraofindia) page on Rhus

Attempts have been made to incorporate most of the species available in India & nearby areas with details & keys directly or through links as far as possible. It’s quite possible that there may be some discrepancy in the accepted names & synonyms taken from other databases/ books.

Species discussed so far in efloraofindia are given at the bottom of the page in the form of links against Subpages. On clicking them one can see all the details.

    Any comments are welcome.

Pl. go through Rhus page (Anacardiaceae) with images of species in efloraofindia (done by me).

If you find any mis-identification, pl. let us know.

If anybody can send images of other species of this genera (for incorporation in the website), it will be really nice. Also, if anybody is interested to take up the activity of inserting images on efloraofindia pages from efloraofindia posts, pl. let us know.
You have done a great job by creating this forum. This group is doing very well and creating awareness among the masses. Sir, how do you find so much time to devote to this group.? We wish you get PADMA Award for this work.
You have inserted the images in genus Rhus very well. One genus Rhus succedanea is missing from the species list. It occurs in Chamba and Kinnaur of Himachal Pradesh.
    Rhus parviflora, although an unresolved
name in 'The Plant List', may be included  until it is finally settled somewhere. All the Floras on Himachal Pradesh have listed it under the same name. And moreover, it is quite different from other species available in India.
Thanks, ... It's mainly the constructive effort of its The Pillars, Subject Experts, Moderators, Major contributors, which is responsible for this major effort.
Is the image you have posted is of Rhus succedanea ?
No, Sir.  It is Rhus parviflora.
When ever I'll be able to locate its presence in Chamba, I'll ask my student ... to photograph it. He is a great trekker and nature lover. He has covered every nook and corner of Chama district.
Thanks, ... It is treated under Toxicodendron parviflorum Kuntze  in efloraofindia.
