Attachments (4) Sharing some pictures of Haloxylon griffithii subsp. wakhanicum shot at Magnetic Hill on 20 August 2014. I see there are images of this on the FOI site identified by Dvorsky from the same location. Please note that Dickore & Klimes only list H.thomsonii but I see this is given as a synonym for H.griffithii subsp. wakhanicum. Stewart listed H.thomsonii from Ladakh incl. Sapola & Lamayuru. He also listed H.griffithii but as ubiquitous on the desert plains of N.Baluchistan, usually with Artemisia - which is subsp. griffithii. According to eflora of Pakistan wakhanicum is a shorter plant but larger leaves & sturdier stems. 'The Plant List' does not recognise H.thomsonii References: |
