Wild shrub from Pindari way (Kathi), fruit edible when ripen.

I think, Viburnum mullaha, if photographed in Himalayan region.

09102011-BS-3: A shrub for id from summer hill road Shimla:
A shrub for id from summer hill road Shimla
Wild about 5-6 deet spreading shrub with small less than 1 cm red fruits growing on roadside
There is a mixing up I think, fourth photo is different, all others pics belong to Viburnum sp.
Yes 4th is Hedera nepalensis, others Viburnum sp.
it seems viburnum mullaha to me
Thanks ... for id
Viburnum mullaha is very common in Summerhill, Advanced studies and Water catchment area wildlife sanctuary in Shimla. These beautiful red fruits can be seen in October end.

ANDEC69 Shrub for identification : 9 posts by 5 authors. Attachments (4)
Chakrata, Uttarakhand
November 2014
Could it be an Ehretia sp.? just a guess...
The leaves photo separately as NO. 3 & 4 are different from the leaves of the red fruited shrub.
As clear from photo 2, there are two shrubs growing side by side and the confusion in selecting the leaves
from adjacent shrub seems to be the case. Pl. check ?
It may be Viburnum mullaha. Fruit types, their arrangement and leaves on branches with fruits are remotely serrate that further confirm my belief. But two photographs showing only leaves appear to be slightly
different as they have entire margin, raises some questions. .

The red fruiting shrub is Viburnum mullah Buch.-Ham.ex D.Don Syn: V. stellulatum Wall.
The fruits are sour-acidic, edible
The adjacent shrubby type seems to be Pieris ovalifolia Syn: Lyonia ovalifolia. on the left of Viburnum mullah.
..., yes I seem to have made a mistake while clicking the photos. Thank you very much.
Thank you ... for your input.

Family: Adoxaceae
Date: 2nd November 2014
Place: Road to Chakrata, Uttarakhand
Habit: Shrub/Small tree
Is it Vibernum lanata?
Viburnum species in eFloraofindia (with details/ keys from published papers/ regional floras/ FRLHT/ FOI/ Biotik/ efloras/ books etc., where ever available on net)
Looks like V.mullaha based on the thread
However, in second picture (of leaves) leaves appear entire while in fruiting specimen these are not entire ! May be a mix up.

Thank you very much ... I suppose I may have mixed up the photos.
