Came across this herb in the forest of Cherapunjee, Meghalaya (November-2008). These are the only photographs i have. Please excuse me for not putting the info in the format as i do not have much info. Any chance for Phaulopsis imbricata..? At least one book informs the species is present in lower Ganga delta. I too would like to know the difference between Phaulopsis imbricata and Phaulopsis dorsiflora. Apparently in a monograph by Mariette Manktelow (1996), it is listed that Phaulopsis imbricata does not occur in India and Phaulopsis dorsiflora is the one we find growing here.
