Which lepidgathis is this bandraensis or trinervis ?? Found in grass near Thane on 21/9/2013
Would think this is Lepidagathis trinervia which is fairly common at Shahapur [which is in Thane district]. However, according to Dr. Almeida's 'Flora of Maharashtra', Vol 4, there are 3 varieties of L.trinervia.
Sending a few of my photographs taken in different seasons.
... have confirm this is lepidagathis trinervia

Attached are pictures of Lepidagathis trinervis captured at SGNP, Kanheri in September 2014.

I came across this Lepidagathis sp. at the base of Sagargad Fort, near Alibag.
Could this be Lepidagathis bandraensis?? (Ref: Based on the Shrikant jis book (Further flower of Sahyadri) ).
Kindly validate the ID.
Yes the specific epithet of the plant is Lepidagathis bandraensis. I hope this is the same photo which you submitted in "Flowers of India" website. I think you have deciphered the name.
Why not L. trinervis?
Is this the same plant as the one on web link ?

Lepidagathis ¿ species ?
Dear friends, I hope this is some species of Lepidagathis. I glanced through eFI and FoI, but I could not arrive to any specific ID. Nearest could be L. trinervis but it does not look like it. Leaves of my posted plant has leaves different from those compiled in L. incurva page of eFI. Please help in ID.

Thanks, ... Yes, something different.

This one must be Lepidagathis bandraensis Blatt.
To me appears more closer to images at Lepidagathis trinervis Nees rather than those at Lepidagathis bandraensis Blatter ?

Thanks ... very much, for the validation. I agree and am convinced it is Lepidagathis trinervis.
