Later, ... was kind enough to post it on Daves Garden for id and got identification within 15 minutes.

Common names are

Purple Bells, Mushugushugu

deep purple throat of this acantheceae is new to me

nice

daves garden is the best, but now its sold.. so have become commercial.. still very good
