Please help me to identify this Barleria sp. 
Flower: 5 cm across
Habit: Herb (2-3 feet high)
Habitat: semi-evergreen forest fringes
Alt.: 350 m asl

Place: Manimutthar falls, Tirunelveli dist., TN 
To me it appears like a Ruellia though I may be wrong 
Check for Barleria elegans/
Barleria nitida.

I attach herewith some specimens for identification
Place: Balamathy Forest Area, Vellore, Tamilnadu
Date: 21-06-15
It was nearly 1.5 feet height. No thorns present.
It may be Barleria sp.
Pl. help me to identify the specimen

Yes, agree with ..., Barleria nitida Nees; please ensure leaves have 4-5 pairs of lateral nerves each (ref. Revision of the genus Barleria ,,,/ Shankar M. Shendage and S.R. Yadav).
