Pl.id this flower photgraphed at Govindghat, Uttaranchal on 28/07/2008 It seems to be Dicliptera roxburghii (Acanthaceae). This is not Dicliptera chinensis (L.) Juss., but appears to be something else. This is Andrographis species I could not find a match as per comparative images at Andrographis I think only species reported from the area so far is Andrographis paniculata, from which it looks different. the floral structure, (corolla upper 2+lower 3 lipped) stamen structure indicates it belongs to Andrographis only |
