Bryophytes are considered as least beautiful plants by angiosperm photographers.

However, I saw this liverwort in my recent tour in Upper Alaknanda Valley in Garhwal. Now it looks that these insignificant looking creepers can also be made a target of camera. I am completely ignorant of Taxonomy of Bryophytes and only on the basis of comparing few photographs believe that it may be an Asterella species.

Nice Catch ... These are pioneers in succession. How we can ignore these little beautiful plants...
