Is it Boletus species?
In Devdar (Cedrus deodara) forest
Shimla
July 2015

just these two fotos is little for identification.
my favorite site is http://www.123pilze.de/DreamHC/Download/2010PilzbilderALLE.htm
here you can compare the fotos. if you klick on any of the fotos e.g. http://www.123pilze.de/DreamHC/Download/Maronenroehrling.htm (Boletus)
you will see how many characters of a mushroom you need to know and compare.
The site is in german, sorry. you may get it translated on google translator.

This is another Boletus sp.
Darker in colour
Cedar Forest
Shimla
July 2015

Thanks for the photos,
It looks like Bolete only and is interesting to see the dark red in colour.  Send this to Prof. Lakanpal or to Dr.Kand Das of BSI those familiar with the Himalayan flora.
