Identification of a fern from Odisha : 4 posts by 2 authors. Attachments (1)
please conform the ID of this Doryopteris collected from a gorge near a swampy moist heal stream growing in association with D. ludens. The gorge is 250 m deep from the main plateau (750 m ) msl.
This is also D. ludens (syn.: Calciphilopteris ludens).  It varies considerable in frond-form with growth, fertility and development, from an almost unlobed, ovate frond to even more narrowly and longer-lobed than this, as you can see in the population and from growing it in pots.
