Flora of Uttarakhand- Fern1 for Id- JM: Wild Herb captured on 13/8/10 during the trek from Ghangaria (around 11,000 ft.) to Hemkunt Sahib (around 14000 ft.). 
 
-I am not surprised it had you wondering what it is.  This, along with Athyrium drepanopterum, always gets confused as it looks superficially like a Dryopteris.  But it is in fact an Athyrium!  A. wallichianum Ching.
