4.     An Addition to the Flora of Tamil Nadu, India:

5.     Reported for the first time:

a.      Presence of phloem wedges in roots is been reported for the first time in      terrestrial  roots of Bignonia alliaceum Phytomorphology 62(3&4):145-153.

b.      Presence of aerial roots has been reported in the 3- genera: Bignonia alliaceum Lam., Doxantha unguis-cati Rehd. And Pyrostegiavenusta Baill. Bignoniaceae for the first time. Phytomorphology 62(3&4):145-153.
