Rowly Powly Cup

The Club organised a number of competitions to celebrate their tenth anniversary. One of these was a mixed knockout tournament open to all clubs who played at the Icebowl. A trophy was purchased and named the Rowly Powly Cup after an old curling club mentioned in the annuls of Dumfries. The competition was intended as a one off, but was so succesful that the committee agreed to make it an annual competition. The first final, appropriately, was contested by Dumfries 1 and Dumfries 2, thus ensuring the host club were the first winners.
