This version by Pete Seeger, Vern Partlow composed this popular satirical song "Old Man Atom,"
It had the line, "The people of the world must pick out a thesis, Peace in the world, or the world in pieces".
He was blacklisted during the McCarthy era.

The Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory has just restored and released 126 (and counting) more never-before-seen films on YouTube.
"The U.S. conducted 210 atmospheric nuclear tests between 1945 and 1962, with multiple cameras capturing each event at around 2,400 frames per second. These are the declassified films of tests conducted by Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory."
